Chapter 26

Emma was still crying for her friend. His breathing was hampered, his mind a mess.

Emma got up, numb to everything due to sadness and walked uncertainly, staggering, going to her cell phone, which, trembling, dialed the first number that appeared to her. And inevitably she called Sebastian.

Rivera was at HQ, accompanied by Pietro, facing Ramon. He was ready to start a retaliation against the right arm fueled by the anger he felt towards him. Ramon already had some cuts on his face, which is why Sebastian had an injured hand.

However, the man stopped when he heard the cell phone ring. Pietro fetched it, handing it to Sebastian, who quickly noticed Emma's name flashing on the screen.

"It's her." he said, smiling at the other. "Emma?" answered the call, but his smile died the second he heard her cry. "What happened? Are you crying?"
