Chapter 25

When Katy arrived at the hospital, Emma was just finishing her breakfast.

And when she saw Emma sitting on the bed, all she did as she approached was hug her best friend tightly.

"Do not do this anymore." Katy asked.

"I promise I won't."

Katy pulled back, touching her blond hair in a gentle affection. Her eyes dropped to Foster's wrists, but Emma shook her head when she saw the other's worried eyes.

"I am fine."

"What happened? Why did you do that?"

"I saw her with her." Emma confessed, quietly," back at HQ. They were holding each other. I had a meltdown after that.

"Emma…" Katy sighed as well. "No man is worth your life, friend."

"I know. I didn't want to die because I don't have his love anymore, but I can't feel happy anymore."

"You need some time. Time away from him."

"I know that."

The bedroom door opened and Katy jumped to her feet. A female doctor entered the room, her smile sweet.
