Chapter 65. Safe House

We say goodbye to Daisy, and I see that glint of mischief in her eyes and I just pray she saves whatever her plan is for me when I get back later.

After a full day away from her I know I will want to play and tease her tonight.

I know Cal said no more games or playing, but a small bit of fun won’t be too bad. It could actually help and make us relax and stop been on edge so much.

I laugh as I consider it, and walk around the building. It looks fine, I have the team sweep it for any bugs, and such. It’s just a normal house. Standing in an uptown residential neighbourhood. Neighbours are old, so less chance of anyone knowing it’s our safe house.

I leave with the few men I brought and move onto the next place. Getting to the door I see it’s open. Well that’s one safe house down. I push the door open and sit in, ensuring my hand is on my dagger ready to grab it.
