Damon ignored Cooper’s muttering and continued, “They’ve all disregarded your instructions. I understand that as well as the fact that you’ll punish them wherever a trace is left behind to serve as an example to others. However, what I don’t understand is why these three are singled out for punishment until death. What did they do more than the rest?”

“You know that they kidnapped the girl,” Cooper replied. 

Damon interjected, “Who is this girl, and why is she so special? Don’t we consider ourselves brothers? Haven’t we promised not to hide anything from each other, the three of us? Come on, Victor, answer.” 

Victor responded, “Cooper already answered your first question. As for the girl, she belongs to me alone, and you know that. Don’t each of you have a girl?” 

Damon pressed further, “And you know everything about our girls and how we met them. As for us, we know nothing about your girl except that she works in heart surgery and transplantat
