Beta Don took in a sharp breath and exhaled deeply, my wolf shot up quickly when he noticed the unease in Beta Don’s body language. Beta Don was not usually a man often found with a loss for words, he was level headed and optimistic. I raked my hand through my hair in frustration when Beta Don warned that Alpha Christian had shown up to my mother’s burial. I felt my hands squeeze into tight and molten anger violently rolling through me. After the stunt he pulled with my mate, I was certain that I never wanted to cross paths with him again. I knew it would be unlikely though since we were both Alphas of our packs but I had no intention of rekindling any sort of friendship. Knowing Alpha Christian for as long as I had, I knew his sudden visit was his way of extending the olive branch a peace offering of sorts.
