Chapter 112. Found the Energy
She blushed profusely, then responded, “And you, sir, I must admit is no Grandpa.”
Zayne and Leandra laughed as they trudged out of the water, Leandra still wrapped around Zayne. He let her down at the bank when they instantly realized they had no clothes.
“Oh, no, my clothes!” Leandra whisper yelled.
“One sec,” Zayne said, then strolled a little distance back into the forest by a tree. They had clothing in the trunks of some of these trees, wrapped neatly in plastic bags.
He grabbed a bag. One bag usually consists of a jersey and pants.
One bag is all they need. Zayne would wear the pants, while Leandra would wear the jersey. Pulling out the jersey, he tossed it to her and said, “Here, you can wear this to get back to the packhouse.”
Leandra caught the jersey and put it on when her heart sank. She hoped to be invited back to his place, but the fact that he said packhouse meant he had no intentions of them spending the rest of the night together o
