Chapter 45. New Day
Third Person’s POV
[Fifteen years ago]
On a beautiful remote island far away from most of mankind, a woman stood in front of a cylindrical glass tank that housed a young girl.
The young girl’s head, neck, and back were connected to tubes that were connected to a giant life-supporting electrical machine outside the glass tank. You can hear the buzzing sound from the device, indicating that it is on and functioning.
She looked as if she was merely asleep as she floated suspended in the tank and was no more than seventeen years of age. She had long dark brown hair and pale skin, and her body looked neatly stitched together.
It looked like she was torn into big chunks of pieces, and someone had the painstaking task of stitching her back together.
The young girl looked almost like Frankenstein.
