I then packaged their items, and then they left while waving goodbye. I waved back, smiling cheerfully. Still trying to figure out what it was, but there was something about Jada I gravitated to.
I smiled as I recalled their frequent visits during the following weeks that passed, where we would engage in little conversations learning something new about each other each time, whether it was where we lived, what we did when we got off work, or what they did for a living.
A few more visits later, Jada eventually invited me to the club to watch her dance and check out the place.
One thing led to another, and here I am; I came in just in time to replace Ena. Because of her pregnancy, she stopped dancing and worked the bar instead until it was her maternity leave.
