Christian’s POV

I’m going to Shelton mansion today for some reason; I need to know how my father has been since he disappeared, and I know it has something to do with Ace. I believe Ace has kept my father and is planning to trap me; if he does, I have a backup plan to notify the authorities.

Finished preparing myself, and I noticed mom in the kitchen cooking breakfast; she was sad because dad didn’t come home and was worried. When I approached her, she looked at me. I can tell by her expression that she is concerned about her father.

“Are you going to your father’s place of business?” Mom questioned me, and I nodded; I didn’t want her to know where my father was because she might act boastfully.

“I’m sorry, Mom if Dad hasn’t returned yet; I think he’s just very busy with his work,” I lied to her because I didn’t want her to be concerned, and she had just finished cooking breakfa
