Unice’s POV

I heard my phone ring and wondered who it was. It's been a year, and Ace will be released from the mental hospital this year, but he will continue the medication he requires. But when I answered the phone, no one answered.

“Hello, who are you?” I smiled and asked to look at the number, which was not saved on my phone.

[Good morning, Ms. Unice, I’m standing in front of your office.] I was perplexed when I heard Ace’s voice and quickly rose from my seat.

I hung up the phone, and when I opened the door to my office, Ace smiled at me, followed by Max. Why didn’t they inform me that he would return today?! I was ecstatic to see him again.

“I had no idea you’d be back today! Nobody informed me!” I said, and he immediately hugged me.

“I’m sorry about that. I know you’re excited to be with me again,” Ace bubbled, and I hugged him as tightly as I could.
