Unice’s POV

The only strange thing is that Ace used to stay away from me to eat in his room; why has he changed his behavior? I drank the water in the bottle after I finished eating. I rested first after finishing because I had just finished eating.

“Will you try to flee again?” To my surprise, Ace asked.

“Do I appear to be planning another escape?” When I asked Ace, he lowered his spoon and fork, indicating that he had finished eating.

“Yeah, you’ll flee again,” Ace said, and I laughed.

“You’re hilarious, Ace!” I told Ace, and we both laughed until he stood up.

“Thank you for the food. The curry you made was delicious,” Ace said, and I nodded.

“If you still need your things, tell me; so you won’t run away just to get what you want,” Ace said while smiling.
