I was away on a business trip when I had an impromptu business meeting back in New York. The trip could go on without me — it was something that my assistant could take care of.

So I decided to fly back to New York.

But on my way back, I met someone at the airport. Someone I hadn’t seen in years.

Madison.

She was my ex-girlfriend – the person I last dated before I met Valerie.

I didn’t know that she was in New York. We were excited to see each other, so we decided to catch up. Madison followed me to the office and waited until I was done with my meeting.

After that, we went to a nearby restaurant to have lunch.

While everything was happening, I didn’t know the paparazzi were following us. When Madison and I dated, our relationship was public, so everyone knew about us.

That was why they were interested when they saw us hanging out together. But the hangout didn’t mean anything.
