I pulled it out of my purse and saw Patrick’s name flashing across the screen.

“Where are you?” He demanded, the urgency evident in his voice.

“I’m at the bridal dress shop with Blair.”

Without delay, he barked. “Leave there now.”

My lips parted in confusion and I blinked. “What?”

“You heard me correctly, leave there right away.” Patrick practically barked his words. “Jordan isn’t associated with us anymore.”

“What are you even talking about?” I took a step back, heading over to a quiet corner. “What did he do?” I asked, my heart racing.

“I’m on my way home right now. I’ll explain everything to you.”

“Okay, but I can’t just abandon Blair. I’ll see you later.”
