Patrick Banks POV

“Valerie, please. Don’t shut me out. Just let me explain.” I pleaded, my tone desperate.

“Explain?” She asked with a bitter laugh. “You want to make me understand why you slept with my sister or how you had a child with her and hid him from me? Which one do you want to talk about?” Her voice trembled.

The guilt was eating me alive.

“You’re still at your mom’s place, right? I’m coming to meet you.”
