Summer’s POV

Following the confrontation, Steven and I avoided each other for the entire day, despite being under the same roof. I confined myself to my room and only opened the door when Stefani arrived. Since I knew of her fondness for Steven, I didn’t make a big deal out of it when she left to see him after changing her uniform. Time flew by and before I knew it, evening had arrived, and I realized I needed to get ready.

“I’m so excited, mom!” Stefani claimed.
