Taking a deep breath, I set aside the tissue I had been using to wipe the table and shifted my attention towards Amby. With a slight smile, I replied, “I don’t believe it’s any of your concern, Amby. My daughter is mine, and I don’t see how it matters whether others are aware of her or not. Do I require validation?”
