Summer’s POV

I gathered the papers and carefully examined every page. It dawned on me that this contract was identical to the one we had signed four years ago, with the only change being the names. I was now Party A, and he was Party B. Moreover, the contract duration was not just three months as I had previously thought, but rather three years.

“Wait...three years?!” I set the papers down and gazed at him with a puzzled expression. “Why would I agree… for three years with you?”

“Do you not want to?” he inquired, flashing a slight grin. “No problem. Just deliver the message to Harvey. I’ll see him in court.”

I gave him a stern look in response to his words. “Your terms have too many demands, Mr. Carter!”

“But you sought the same thing as me before.”

“But three months and three years are vastly different spans of time!”
