Ash's POV

I had to let Riley go. I had to get to work so against all sound reasoning, I let her out of my car. That's not a good enough reason but it gave me the space I needed from her at the moment. Yes, after everything that happened in Carlos's home, I needed space from Riley.

It was like we were back in familiar territory. Back in a territory where we were still in love with each other. But that couldn't be possible. I was not in love with Riley. Sure, I felt a huge attraction for her. I was insanely attracted to her but that did not mean I was in love with her right?
