Ash's POV

After everything that happened today, I came back to a quiet home. I felt like something was missing. I was already getting so used to having Riley around my house even if she had only spent half a day. Wow, there was something wrong with me. Especially regarding the fact that I missed her. How was it that I could still miss her after everything she had done to me?

I was already done with my workout when Riley walked into the house. She looked pissed and she carried a little bag...sorry, she carried bags. I suspected it had her daily essentials and clothes.

I wanted to help her because it looked like it was too heavy for her to carry on her own. But the way she growled at me made me stay where I was. There was no way I was getting on her nerves after seeing her this way. She was already pissed there was no point in making her angry.
