Chapter 25. Newlyweds' First Night

At 10.00 PM, John arrived at Jocelyn and Max's wedding celebration party at the Northern Lights Premiere Hotel bar. After walking around for a while and not finding Annastacia, he approached Jocelyn and Max's seats to ask where Anna was. 

"Hi, sorry I'm late. Hope you have a great party, Jocy, Max. Do you know where Anna is? Is she home early?" asked John, standing up and shaking Jocelyn and Max's hands. 

Hearing John's question about Anna's whereabouts, Jocelyn and Max exchanged glances. Jocelyn answered with a shrug, "Anna was at my party earlier, but she then mingled with the other guests. She hasn't said goodbye after that." 

John crossed his arms as he thought for a moment, then he said, "Maybe Anna is tired and is going home early. Well then, I'll call Anna myself. Max, Jocy, I'm leaving."
