Chapter 39. Back to Work

After a simple dinner in a hotel room with a menu of traditional Greek food, JC took Anna to Greece's international airport, 5 km from Astro Palace Hotel. His chartered private jet was waiting to take JC back to California before dropping Annastacia back in Grenada.

This is not an easy thing for JC to let Anna go. He understands the risks. His new wife is a dissident. Plus, Annastacia's engagement relationship with Doctor John Baldere has a great chance of ruining his marriage to Anna in Santorini.

However, JC wants to understand the development of the situation first. He had hired a professional private detective to follow Anna's activities while she was away from him. While in California, JC will finish all his work as quickly as possible to see Anna again on the weekend.

Max Brury, his manager, had to be told not to be late back to California. JC is flying tonight because the journey will take about half a day to arrive in Grenada.
