Chapter 27. The Beginning of the End

Charlotte stared at the door as whoever was outside kept knocking, obviously waiting for her to respond. She had come out of her coma days ago and was now wondering where everyone was.

“Char? Are you awake?” Priscilla called from the other side of the door, making her sit up. She was strong enough now and was able to eat like a normal person would.

“Yeah, I’m up. Come in,” she called out, clearing her throat.

“How are you feeling?” The other girl asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed.

“I’m fine, where’s everyone?”

“Where’s everyone? Mom has not come to see me ever since I woke up, and no one’s willing to say anything about that.”
