Chapter 28. The Lies You Stopped Telling and the Truth After
The stress of the fight had begun to weigh Mark down, and he was beginning to get exhausted with everything. First, he had to work on creating a barricade between the outside and the insides of the house. He had surrounded the house with animal traps just in case any of the wolves tried to attack. He had gotten his father out of the hospital, but the man was still frail and tired; the Luna wolves had done quite a number on him, and that much was clear.
He did not want to think that everything he once knew had turned upside down, and now the very thing he had feared was what he was turning into. Not only did his ideologies and ideas change, but he had begun to see that there was a thin line between love and hate, and what he had for the Luna wolves had gone beyond hate. He detested the very thought of them and made sure that he hurt as many as he could while at it.
