Chapter 21
Peace is watching the sun set.
As I gazed at the beauty of the setting sun and the calm sea, the wind blew through my hair.
I hugged myself and grinned. It's becoming cooler, and darkness is creeping in. I exited the veranda and went into the bedroom.
Two weeks have passed.
I've been gone from Clyde's place for two weeks. I've been living in Zach's penthouse for the past two weeks. For the past two weeks, my life has been tranquil. Far from Clyde's living misery.
Zach quickly departed after dropping me off at his penthouse here in Santander because he stated he needed to make sure Clyde couldn't find me.
I am quite grateful to him for his assistance. I don't know how to thank him for his generosity.
I reheated my marinated chicken supper from earlier. Despite the fact that Zach left me here initially, he made certain that I had enough food and supplies.
