Chapter 28. Realizations

A few days have passed and the last day for the leaders’ meeting has come. For the last few days, I had been enjoying it because of Nathan’s presence. He told me all sorts of stories from our home pack, the Eden pack, and gave me information about everyone that I knew. How our other friend Sandra was also pregnant, with her boyfriend who turned out to also be her mate from our neighboring pack.

He also told me how Nancy found her mate and how they were having twins in less than three months now. And I also asked him what they did to our house, now that there was no one living in it. Thankfully, he told me they kept it as is, always believing that they’d soon find me. And what I’m most grateful for, is they took care of my father after what happened. They turned his body into ashes and put his urn inside our house.
