Chapter 61. Shock
“S-Samuel?”
I mumbled as I stared wide-eyed at the boy whom I was cleaning the Omega house with.
He was missing the last time I heard about him…
“S-Sabrina…”
He backed away and let go of the lady. She slumped on the ground, dirty and wounded, but all my attention was on Samuel. The quiet and nice kid I know from the Omega House.
Before I went away for training I heard he was missing. Is this the reason why?
“Samuel!” I screamed when he suddenly turned his back and started running. The other rogue whom he was with followed him.
“Stop! Wait, Samuel!” I tried following them, but the laugh that came from the other rogue made me almost stop.
The rogue glanced back at me and smirked, before he and Samuel ran—both half turned and smudged with dirt.
I stopped on my tracks, frozen, and just stared at the pathway they went through until they went away.
“Samuel…”
