Chapter 62. Suspicions
“T-Titus… I think I shouldn’t be here,” I said as soon as he pulled me towards him as he opened the doors of the board room where the rest of the Council people, including the Elders were gathered for an immediate meeting.
Titus didn’t respond and just continued walking inside the large room. While I tried acting normal when all eyes went to us.
Alphas, guards—now including the 14 Kingsguards, the Councilors and the people who were involved earlier watched us as they waited for the king to speak up.
Titus stood at the head of the triangular shaped table, the tip pointing at him. He looked so tall and formidable most especially with his black and gold uniform and the medals that hung around it, that no one dared speaking.
