Chapter 116. Vacation

He did not enjoy the sun on his skin like every other person basking on the beach because his mind was pretty occupied and that did not allow him focus on the reason he was out there.

Maxwell had finally been able to convince him to go on the vacation. That was not really the main reason he was here though, if he had not seen the need to, and he did not feel like it, he would not have gone.

He had learnt a hard lesson from the recent happenings and he knew better than to allow another man dictate his life for him. Or any other person in particular, make him do the things that would get him in the condition he was in now.

He had been afraid of Maxwell and defying his words, but now he did not care anymore. He could not continue that way. He planned to spend a few days here and fly out of the country to start his life all over again from all the money he had and gathered from Maxwell.

Staying back was not going to do him any good and he does not trust Maxwell.
