Chapter 27

Max had followed his wife to the hospital for a subsequent check up. He left to have a quick word with the doctor about the next appointment and was shocked to meet a visitor with his wife.

He met his colleague who came to check on his wife inside the hospital room and they both looked up and frowned at him simultaneously.

"How did you know we were here?" Max asked his friend momentarily forgoing pleasantries.

"I was placed on the accident case and I needed to ask some questions from you two

 Someone at the office told me you were here." The colleague clarified.

"Sorry about that, I get paranoid easily these days." Max apologized to his colleague.

"No problem, sit. I only needed to ask a few questions." 

Max took a seat while his wife looked on expectantly.

"Lacoste and your fiance, Drisella were sighted at the scene of the accident. Do you have any idea if they were involved in the accidents?" The colleague asked ambiguously
