As much as Max wanted to know the answer, he couldn't think of any, why would Drizella hide the carbon? A question he might never be able to figure out the answer, except of course, he asks her.

Days went by, but he heard nothing from her. He would stalk outside Jose's house hoping to see her but all his attempts failed. He tried calling but her number wasn't reachable. Like an abandoned child he felt. But he didn't give up, he kept on waiting.

Like every other day, Max arrived at the office a few minutes past 10 and after visiting his wife at the hospital.
