Chapter 109. Titus Is Feeling Unease

Selena’s eyes had opened, and she was staring at him. “Selena?” He came towards her. “You are awake.” He could not believe it.

Selena blinked her eyes and kept staring at him. “Who are you?,” she asked. Her voice sounded very weak.

“What?” Easton scoffed. “It is me. Easton.” He took his seat. “Hello, Selena...” 

She immediately cut him off. “Who is Selena, and why do you mention her name?” She looked around. “Where am I, and why am I lying in this bed?”

Easton gave her a puzzled expression. “Oh no. This is not happening.” 

“Oh, no. This is not happening.” Easton leaned in closer to her. Selena sat back. He searched her eyes with his own, unsure of what he was doing or who he was. “You can’t remember anything? Even about the accident?”

“What accident?” When Selena requested, Easton repositioned himself. 

“That got you here. You have been fighting for your life for the last five days.”

Selena tried to stand up, but when sh
