Chapter 132. We’ve Got a Problem!

As Selena stared at the board, a strong breeze blew in her face. She smiled as she remembered her date night with Xavier. She reached under her desk for her phone and began texting him. “What kind of outfit should I wear tonight?” She waited for his response but received none. Selena put the phone back in her bag. Xavier must be occupied with training. She returned her focus to the board when her nose twitched.

“What smell is that?” She turned to face Trisha. “You’re not even reacting to the smell.” 

“What smells?" Trisha inquired as she focused on Selena. Max’s seat was now closer to the three of them, and she was no longer the lonely girl sitting in the back of the class. 

“The smell of wood.” Selena sniffed the hair again. “Really good smell,” she repeated. 

Max whispered, “That means we are not alone.” She clenched her fist. That was Titus’s scent. What is he doing in her school?
