Chapter 45. The Welcome Ritual

Jordan gave her consolation and helped her become stronger. She had to take a break from her career after learning she was pregnant the following year. She learned that another child was on the way when she was heading back to her job after a four-year break. This broke her heart because she has grown to value her job as a hunter. 

She can still see the werewolf’s claw mark on her stomach, and it reminds her every time she takes a shower. So how can she keep herself from becoming addicted to alcohol?
