Chapter 49. A Boy in Her Room

“Home? This is where I call home.”

“You are a member of the pack.” 

Selena scoffed as she stood up. She grumbled. “Not at all. This is where I belong. You can not just walk into my house and tell me to follow you, thinking I can just pack my bags and go. My family is here. So you can go because I am not coming with you.” 

“That same family you despise?” Selena slapped him across the face as soon as he finished speaking, and when she realized what she had done, she gasped. Titus rubbed his hot cheek with the back of his hand. 

“I am truly sorry.” She turned to face him after looking down at her quivering hand. “I am so sorry. I - I don’t mean to do that.” She said. He looked at her, trying to contain his rage. How could she even raise her hand and hit him? The effrontery. He is the leader, and no woman would dare to do such a thing to him. He took a deep breath and said nothing. 

Both of their eyes widened as they turned the
