Chapter 53. The Therapist

Selena discovered a board nailed in front of the door. Gabriella, Dr. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. 

“Please come in.” Dr. Gabriella said, and Selena opened her mouth. As soon as she stepped inside, she sensed a friendly atmosphere. It was different from the one at home. Perhaps this is why she is known as a therapist. As she rose to her feet, Dr. Gabriella met her eyes and smiled. “You have to be Selena. It is great to finally meet you.”

“Am I running late?”

Dr. Gabriella shrugged as she looked at her watch. "You are exactly on time. Please come in and take a seat." Selena took a seat on the sofa next to Dr. Gabriella. She placed her bag on the ground near her leg. “My name is Dr. Gabriella, and I am your family Therapist. Do you enjoy juice?”

Selena made a shaky motion with her head. “No, thank you. I believe I will decline. What did my mother say about me, given your obvious joy at seeing me?” She requested, her fingers interlock
