Selena sighed as she adjusted her position in the chair. “Do you think it is wrong to talk to your friends first?” 

“I can’t do it. They made me angry. They ratted me out.” Estry had grown to enjoy their estrangement since she had not spoken to Dalett or Trisha in four days. 

“They were there to help you, Selena.”

Selena let out a sigh. “I believed we were best friends. I believed they would want to follow my lead.”
