Selena sighed as she adjusted her position in the chair. “Do you think it is wrong to talk to your friends first?”

“They are your best friends, but they are not always required to do what you say. Best friends are people who correct you when you make a mistake. Dalett and Trisha may have noticed your attempt to make a mistake. Why would you want to listen in on your mother’s conversations and trail her?”
