Asper’s POV

“Wait!” I stopped him as I processed what he just said.

He went back to the kettle and mixed our drinks and when he went back to me, he put a mug of chocolate drink in front of me.

“The king wants Miracle to become the queen regent of this country?” I asked. “And she has to accept this for them to finally stop harassing the foundation?”

He nodded. “That is their agreement.”

Azaria Clan doesn’t believe that women have a place in the palace. They treated most of them only as a political tool. A way for them to gather more allies that will support them no matter what happens.
