Ah, life.

You know it always has one way or the other to either surprise or overwhelm you.

One of the few things I found amusing about life was how coincidences occur.

Or how when you stumble into something, you start seeing replications of it everywhere.

So there I was, in front of the building, contemplating if I should go in or not.

Surely, I was at the wrong address… Yeah… There’s no way that this could be the place.

I decided to call her one more time.

“Hello, mom?” I called as she picked up the phone.

“Yes, sweetie? Did you make it there?” she asked.

“About that, are you sure you didn’t make a mistake in the address?” I asked.

“I’m definitely sure you’re at the right place,” she replied, and I could hear the smile in her voice.

“If you say so,” I sighed.

“Hey, sweetie?” she called.

“Yeah, mom?”
