School finished eventually, and she immediately rushed to her locker so she could see Ethan walk by her on the way to his locker. Sure enough, a few minutes later, she saw him from the far end of the hallway.

Her heart stopped for a brief moment, and in that moment all she could think of was him. He was dressed casually, but he always managed to look stunning in the most average of fits—he was dressed in a brown tee with jean trousers and sneakers today, yet he managed to look like he was straight out of the cover page of The Vogue.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the very handsome figure she was just daydreaming about standing in front of her.

“Anything wrong, Atwood? You look like you’re trying to find something.”
