Detective Hanson’s POV
[In the forest]
“You know what Charles? I think I understand the psychology of our killer,” I said as I examined the crime scene.
“You do?” he asked.
“Yes good Charles. Whoever the killer is must be mentally unstable,” I said.
“Oh wow, sir!” he said sarcastically, “I think I should know by now that serial killers aren’t particularly alright psychologically,” he said.
“Of everyone knows that,” I said, “I mean this guy is so unpredictable in his methods, that it almost feels as if the crimes are being committed by two different people!” I explained.
“How do we know it’s not?” he asked, “because, literally speaking, there’s no conclusive evidence that the ‘killer’ is a single person,” he explained.
“Oh but he is!” I said.
“Oh yeah? I’d like to see you prove it,” he taunted.
“Why, what a doubtful little critter you are! Alright, if you insist, follow me,” I said gesturing with my index finger that
