Chapter 40. Goodbye, Mom
Petyr’s POV
[Blood Pack meeting, at night in the woods]
“You’ve got nerve kid,” Grant said to me as he sat down on a rock, clipping his fingernails, “and what makes you think that I won’t just get rid of you like the others?” he asked.
“Because you seek power, power over all the packs,” I responded.
“I gotta hand to ya, kid. You’re one brave kid,” he said, “so what’s your proposal?” he asked.
“With your permission, I would like to be made an official member of the Blood pack,” I requested, “and together we can take down all the other packs here in Orlando,” I said.
He nodded slightly as if still assimilating my words. There was silence as he sat down there thinking.
“I’ve got a question,” he said.
“Yes, sir, what is it?” I asked.
“You are a member of a pack currently, aren’t you?” he asked, “‘cause you don’t seem like a sigma to me at all,” he added.
“I am actually, but as you can see, I no longer have any intention
