Hadley stared at her packed box and she wondered why the cold-hearted man was making so much effort.

The planned business trip was suffocating her but Maurice's actions were even complicating things for her. Before she got home he had instructed the maids to pack her bags and she didn't have any choice but to wait for the day to break and embark on the business trip with him.
