I’m fucking pissed. At Aria, at myself for being too pissed at Aria, at our friends for coming down too hard on her, and at Lucas for disappearing like a damn ghost.
“Lily, don’t,” Damon says, stopping her before she can go after Aria. “Let her be. Until she’s ready to cooperate, she can stay far the fuck away.”
“Alright, Damon, you’re doing too much now. Chill.” I step in because, seriously, he needs to calm the hell down. “Have you forgotten Aria is our friend?”
“I know that, but she’s not acting like one.” His jaw tightens, his hands clenched into fists. “She’s supposed to be our friend, but she’s out there messing around with that bastard.”
“You don’t know what the hell she’s dealing with, so back off,” I argue, trying to keep my patience. Aria might have made some questionable choices, but Damon’s taking things too far.
“I know she’s your friend, but that doesn’t mean you have to defend every stupid thing she does, Mia. She’s wrong
