Crisp, the night air was as Megan made her way home from the art studio. Past weeks had been a whirlwind, and now the book launch seemed only to add to it. While the event had managed to be a success, Megan couldn't help but shake this feeling of unease that settled over her.
Turning onto her apartment building's street, she stopped. The soft lamps cast a warm amber light across the concrete, their long shadows seeming to stretch and sway with the breeze.
