Megan's POV

I guess it was time for healing from the whole conversation. It was all silence when I rode back how with Jane who will steal few glances at me, from time to time.

"Are you okay?" She will ask from time to time.

"Yes!" I replied.

"I will see you tomorrow!" I said and I got out of the vehicle.

"You can talk to me if you need anything!" Jane said and I got into the house.

I threw myself into the bed and I was still reeling from the revelation that my parents were alive. I had so many questions, so many emotions. But before I could even begin to process it all, I received a chilling message.

"You're next," it read.

At first, I thought it was just a prank or meant for someone else. But then I saw the symbol at the bottom of the page. The same symbol that my parents had everywhere around their room and asked me to look out for.

My heart racing, I realized that I was in danger. The people who had been chasi
