Ryan’s POV

I just came back to the office after the hearing was concluded. It brings me joy as we are one step closer to winning this and this calls for celebration.

I brought out a bottle of wine, which I saved for special occasions and this calls for one.

I took a sip of it and relaxed as the memory of what happened in court played through my mind.

I was genuinely impressed by Ellie’s performance as she exceeded all expectations.

I took another sip of the wine and decided to send her a surprise package. I took out another bottle of my special wine from the storage compartment and packed it up.

I took the landline and called for my secretary.

“Yes sir you called for me,” she replied a few minutes later.

“Yes, I did as you know we are one step closer to winning the case right?” I said.

“Yes, I heard they say that our lawyer was the star of the day.” She replied.
