Chapter 51. Accept the Fact

James’ POV

I stormed out of the meeting room. After making my point, who do they think they are demanding such money from us?

Luke swiftly tailed and caught up to me.

“That was unnecessary you know,” Luke said.

“What the hell are you talking about?” I responded.

“You shouldn’t have done that we should have handled this more quietly. Now they would have the upper hand if we are not fast.”

“Then we will be,” I replied “Look, Luke, I’m tired, and all I want to do is rest, okay,” I replied.

“You are tired?” He exclaimed, “Really? The case would take another turn because of this stunt we pulled and you are tired.” he calmly used his palms and cleaned his face to relieve the stress.

He took a deep breath as they were hard to ignore.

“Okay, here is what is going to happen, I didn’t bring my car, but hopefully you did.” He suggested.

“And so?”

“Luckily, I didn’t bring mine, so I’m hitching a ride.” He revealed, “Moreov
