Chapter 73. A Manipulative Snake

James’s POV

I could do nothing but just watch my dad scratch his head, wondering where he went wrong; well, I could tell him where, but what use is it if he wouldn’t listen?

“All this is your fault, and I hope you will find a solution real soon,” I added.

“Can’t you see I’m trying to think?” he said.

“I know you are stupid, but can’t you wait a little bit? I’m trying to think about a solution to this problem, and if you are wise, you would join me and find a solution,” he spoke, infuriating me even more.

“If I was wise?” I couldn’t believe he had just said that but then who was I that he would listen to me? I stood there confused and was left speechless.

“I have to think of something fast,” he said.

“What could you possibly do at this point? You already lost the case; the next thing to do is figure out how we can settle this,” I said.

“We can blackmail her,” he suggested, and yet again, my idea was left out of the conversation.<
