Chapter 79. Everything Was All a Lie

James’ POV

I saw the article that my dad leaked to the public. Indeed, it was everything he said he’d do and more, and somehow, it seemed to reduce the levels of tension.

Our stocks are still low, but they seem stable to some point; it was the weekend, so no work for me; I just had to relax and forget about everything, at least for a while, because the next time I step back onto my office, there is going to be a lot of work to do.

All the payments the assurance to clients, the customers, all of them, I still found my dwelling in the thoughts about work, something I’m trying to run away from.

I decided to watch a little movie or something. I made my way to the living room and turned on the TV; it seemed like there was a reality TV, so I dwelled on it.
