Rekha did cheated him, that's all he could feel. With all the promises she made to him, Rohit thought when Rai come back she would stand by his side and together they would have fixed their  mistake. But as soon as she heard of Rai's possible arrival date, without second thoughts she called it off with him, telling him shits that she wanted Rai back.

There was nothing left for him to do, the only thing eating him up was the regret and insanity of cheating his friend for a woman like her. He should have known better, sometimes it was evident and sometimes her pretense was one he should applaud to.

Fake promises, fake love all for what. With different thoughts going through his mind, he didn't have any possible reasons of why she did what she did. he have had his brain whirred out but no reason came to his  mind.
